It’s about bloody time. There aren’t many bands that can even come close to having the influential reach and sheer raw stage energy as At The Drive In. Anyone who isn’t completely liquid-faced by this is really missing the point.
Saying that, I still don’t get that Jools Holland gig…

Wet Nuns - Heavens Below (by Darren Topliss)
Do like. Wet Nuns have managed to get themselves an impressive following in Sheffield. It gives me hope, really it does. Once you get past the ironic American accents, you can’t get away from how damn catchy they are. Definitely a band to check out if you haven’t already (if you haven’t, then really, where have you been?)
